This is very interesting. Did you come up with it yourself, or did you find a reference to this somewhere? I always thought, that wearing pants down below your ass was the opposite of the "geeky" style, where your pants are pulled up very high. You know how mothers will pull up their children's pants really high? Well, that's considered "geeky", and I thought that wearing pants really low was in opposition to that. But what you are saying also makes sense. I wonder if it's reallt the case.
